About Pre-Construction Anti-Termite Treatment

Pre-construction anti-termite treatment (PCT) is a chemical soil-barrier applied to foundation trenches, plinth area, and refill soil BEFORE concrete is poured — giving your building lifetime termite immunity.

Why it matters

Without PCT, sub-terranean termites can colonise beneath concrete slabs within 2–3 years of construction, causing irreversible structural compromise.

Commonly found in

  • Foundation trenches
  • Plinth area
  • Sub-soil layers
  • Retaining walls
  • Column bases
  • Expansion joints

Key Benefits

  • 1
N/A — PCT is preventive; applied before termites ever arrive
  • 2
Recommended for ALL new residential construction
  • 3
Mandatory for commercial buildings under IS 6313 standard
